En route from event, motorcade u-turned into Lambeau Field parking lot so President Bush, noted protector and guardian of the English language and precise pronunciation, could poke fun at the misspeak of a fellow man.

"It's nice to be at Lambeau Field," Bush said as he left limo and walked to greet small group of supporters pre-placed at a spot guaranteed to have Lambeau Field sign in the photos.

"It's good to be at LamBEAU," Bush repeated, adding the second-syllable emphasis in case anyone did not recall that Sen. Kerry had referred to it as Lambert Field.

Bush gripped and grinned with the locals.

"I want a picture with some Packer fans," he said.

Revelation offered up by driver of Press 1 van: Seems the Green Bay Packers are the Green Bay Packers in the same phony way that the New York Jets and New York Giants are New York teams. Sainted LamBEAU Field, home of the fabled frozen tundra, is actually in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. If all was fair in the world, Bret Favre would be quarterbacking the Ashwaubenon Packers.

How many would like to hear POTUS -- suddenly Mr. Elocution -- pronounce that? Hands, please.

Wheels down in Minneapolis at 1: 42 p.m. Arrived at Target Center 10 minutes later.

POTUS was introduced by Mike Tice, head coach of Minnesota Vikings.

"The biggest reason I'm here today is because when I wake up in the morning I feel safe. I feel my family is safe. And I certainly feel and believe that our country is protected knowing George Bush is in the White House," Tice told enthusiastic crowd in packed Target Center.
