WH Pool Report: Nothing Ever Happens in Blaine Edition

In these WH pool reports, our poolers are bored, and the President's just a little confused:
•"In Rochester, the top film on the marquee was 'Without a paddle.' Know the feeling."
•"The president ordered an egg-salad sandwich -- 'Fire one up,' he said. Unfortunately, that was not among the selections offered on the menu, as displayed on plates on the wall behind the counter. He was told he could have tuna salad or chicken salad, and he chose the chicken salad sandwich, which he complemented with a bag of Doritos and a Diet Coke. Pooler did not witness details of the cash transaction, but a reporter asked him 'what's the biggest threat to the world today,' and the president did not respond in any way."
Full reports after the jump.
POOL REPORT #2, 9/16/04
Motorcade from St. Cloud underway at 10: 49 central time, a full 60 seconds ahead of schedule by pooler's time-zone adjusted watch. Uneventful ride until OTR at almost exactly at noon in Anoka, at a tiny sandwich spot on Main Street called the Brick House Deli. President Bush was ushered in and met owner Angel Howell, and mugged for cameras with her 8-month-old, Kate Lynn. "It's good to be in the Halloween capital of the world," the president said. The president ordered an egg-salad sandwich -- "Fire one up," he said. Unfortunately, that was not among the selections offered on the menu, as displayed on plates on the wall behind the counter. He was told he could have tuna salad or chicken salad, and he chose the chicken salad sandwich, which he complemented with a bag of Doritos and a Diet Coke. Pooler did not witness details of the cash transaction, but a reporter asked him "what's the biggest threat to the world today," and the president did not respond in any way. He was checked out by cashier Tara Morrissey, then back on the bus en route to Blaine.

Pool Report #3
Blaine, MN to Rochester, MN.
Most uneventful bus ride which, for the record, took us on I-35W South to I-694 East to I-35E South to I-94 East to U.S. 52 South to Rochester. Only notes of interest along way were the smiling guys waving outside Jake's Exotic Dancers, just outside St. Paul, the sign advertising Elk Meat for Sale in Zumbrota, MN. and the billboard advertising Windsor Canadian Whiskey taking note of Minnesota's state bird: "It's not your blood the mosquitos are after." In Rochester, the top film on the marquee was "Without a paddle." Know the feeling.
