If you squint a bit looking at that picture of Martin and that dildo next to him, you can clearly see them in the black uniform of the SS.

"objectively, Musk is a dick." And, at least in the USA, the truth is an absolute defense against libel.

Do what the Brits used to do - burn at the stake, boil alive, or hang, draw and quarter, all in public view. Force the MAGATs to view the gruesome results the way the Allies forced German citizens to view concentration camps after World War II.

And then force the MAGATs to clean up the mess.

"It can't happen here!!" Yes, it can, and it is!!

People in this country should be repeating Reverend Niemoller's words and reflecting on them daily

To paraphrase...

First they came for the "illegals" I didn't care. I'm not an "illegal"

Then they came for the transgenders and gays. I didn't care, I am neither.

Then they came for the socialists. I didn't care. I don't like socialism

Then they came for the non-Christians. I didn't care. I attend a Protestant Church

Who will care when they come for you?

Trump's stated intention to work out a "Peace Deal" with the Russians without any representation by the Ukrainians is unprecedented and astronomically arrogant . Trump and Putin sitting down and deciding the fate and borders of an independent sovereign nation goes against any ideals which might be considered "American"

The US Constitution, in Article III, Section 3, defines treason as "levying war against [the United States], or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort".

Not a word there about not liking the sitting President.

Since the end of WWII, our most prevalent enemy has been The Russians, and to a lesser extent The Chinese. Although there was never any formal "Declaration of War" per se., there have been numerous skirmishes and proxy wars between the United States and those two countries. Since we are supplying military aid to the Ukrainians, their conflict with the Russians may reasonably be considered to be the most current "proxy war". Nevertheless, The undercurrent of animus has been ever present for 80 years. Therefore, I would submit that Trump's cozy attitude toward Putin and his clandestine business dealings with Russian oligarchs would come much closer to being "Treason" than anything anyone else has done.

The "Right Wing" gang of miscreants in this country has been successfully re-defining terms for over 30 years. Most notably "Conservative and Liberal" which have both become so ill defined as to be meaningless "Buzz" words used only to solidify emotion based partisanship.

I've thought since the impeachment trial Number One Schiff might make a great President, his closing argument in the (verdict inevitable) trial was wonderful.

The LA Times (of all things!) ran an article about how massively unsuccessful the local AUSA—one Bill Essayli—has been in getting grand juries to return indictments. It seems that there is evidence (ICE’s own body vamps, witness videos) that directly contradicts ICE claims of protestors assaulting ICE or otherwise interfering with them arresting/detaining people.

The grand juries hear and evaluate the evidence and return No Bill, which leads to Essayli having screaming fits in the office. Prosecutors are resigning, because, really, who wants to work for someone like that?

Essayli is, like Alina Habba, not permanently in that position and the local judges will not approve him and neither will both US Senators. He has a time limit. Of course, DOJ will use shenanigans to keep him there, just like they did with Habba in NJ and Sarconne in NY.

Ta, Gary. I adore Tish James. I met her at my (soon to be former) City Council member's inauguration, and heard her speak, beautifully, at a Union event in Albany. Martin should be practicing his skills, like pissing up ropes (or into the wind).

And I also gotta point out they're *weaponizing the DOJ* against political opponents and perceived political pariahs. Weaponization Working Group is a perfect example of doublespeak🧐

Schiff and James are smarter, savvier, and more seasoned attorneys - by far - than this clown car posse of imbeciles currently at DOJ and under Bondi and Trump's control. And it's not as if they weren't aware - for years and years now - that they had targets on their backs.

Best of luck idiots. You come for these two, you best not miss.

This is one of the benefits of them having a rightwing media human centipede; it helps to paper over in the discourse how blatantly fucked this is.

Also Dems better be making noise; AG James is one of the people that fought the pricktator and got Ws against him. All the people who are getting clout for shitting on Dems (especially Jeffries and Schumer) need to be front and center helping to defend James.
