The whole Ice Cube suing Qatar may seem weird but what Avenatti is being secretive about and teasing the story is the meeting in Trump Tower on December 12, 2017 with the Qatari delegation which is more confirmation of the Steele Dossier.
The Steele Dossier alleges that Qatar, Italy, Singapore and the Philippines entered into an agreement to purchase 19.5% of Russia's oil giant Rosneft of which a $500 million "brokerage fee" would be paid to Carter Page, (remember him?). Carter Page is the bag man on the deal with most of that $500 million going to Trump and his associates.
They used shell companies and a Cayman Islands shell company to hide all the players involved.
The media and several legal pundits all assume Mueller will file reports and let congress handle Trump because Mueller supposedly can't indict Trump.
I don't believe that to be the case. If you read Rosenstein's letter appointing Mueller as special counsel he seems to have given him authority to file charges and prosecute ANYONE Mueller finds involved in criminal acts. Mueller was appointed under CFR 28 § 600.1 - 600.10 and 600.7(b) is especially interesting.
