Bring your bad self and a "potluck," and now I understand what Rebecca meant in the Chatcave when she said she'd "be out next week driving to SD," and boy am I ever glad i didn't ask what possessed her to go to South Dakota during Delta Season!
Then, come the weekend, Yr Own Dok Zoom will be coming toSPOKANE, WASHINGTON,for the Wonkmeet onSaturday, August 14in Spokane Audubon Park at 6 p.m. Look for the WonkMeet flag!

You know who won't be at any of these? Kid Zoom, who will be working, and Thornton, who can't be trusted on road trips. Leave him alone five minutes and he'll find the nearest rubber mousie truck, the fiend. But they send their love!

So sorry about the RA. A good friend of mine who lives in Arlington, TX, got hit by that, too. All of a sudden. No warning, no precursors, no family history. Just woke up one day and couldn't move. Couldn't put on her rings, pull her hair back in a pony tail. or get up out of a chair once she sat down. It was hideous. Luckily she had an adult child at home who could take care of the cooking, the house, the dog, etc. She had a hard time getting a diagnosis beyond auto-immune disorder. She responded to cortisone but couldn't keep taking it forever. She's on something else now, injections, which help but don't cure. She's in her early 60s. Doing somewhat better now but has flares as you do. Such a mystery. Best of luck to you.
