I often joke about the cern weasel in 2016 and the sudden lurch into madness and barrel-bottom stupidity that I witnessed from people that I'd always known to be normal. I understand on a certain level that it is highly unlikely, however deep down, I really want it to be true because it suggests a cause and possible solution for the current predicament we find ourselves in.

Earlier this year I sat next to an old guy at a baseball game in Palm Springs, CA (California Winter League) who told me he was a retired FBI agent, and that he was the person who arrested Ted Kaczynski when his shack was raided. I believe him.

It's been my experience that the people who spend the most time screaming about "child abuse," particularly to the point of making up vast conspiracies about shady cabals ritualistically abusing children for... reasons, are in fact child abusers themselves. They're generally fine with actual child abuse committed by people they like. They make up these conspiracies and rage against them constantly so that they can tell themselves that, as they're not like that, they aren't really bad people at all.
These people say to themselves that, since they don't go around torturing and murdering children in order to harvest their pineal glands, it's okay that they beat the shit out of their own kids, or lock them in dark rooms for hours while the kids scream in terror, or deny them medical care while they gasp for air because they don't want the hassle of going all the way to the hospital. They aren't monsters; that's just tough love!
That's what I think about when it comes to QAnon: they're child abusers, every last one of them.
