It sounds like the #Resistance might be working again, sorta kinda! Reports have been swirling since Friday that Sebastian Gorka (whatever you do, don't call him "Doctor Gorka"), the Hungarian Nazi who might have become a U.S. citizen under false pretenses, and whose "Ph.D" is, ahem, not actually a Ph.D by American standards , may be losing his job as a counter-terrorism adviser in the White House. It's not that he's not qualified for the position -- after all, he WAS a Breitbart editor. It's just that, you know, he's a fucking Nazi and stuff. And he doesn't seem to have the appropriate security clearance, which is probably Obama's fault somehow. (He couldn't get one in Hungary either. Unfair!)

Anyway, the Daily Beast reported on this Friday afternoon:

The Trump administration is actively exploring options to remove controversial national security aide Sebastian Gorka from the White House and place him at another federal agency, multiple sources tell The Daily Beast.

Two senior administration officials familiar with the situation say it is exploring a new role for Gorka elsewhere in the administration. Another said he has been entirely excluded from day-to-day policy-making at the National Security Council in the meantime.

Gorka’s looming departure from the White House, which one of the sources described as imminent, comes amid mounting controversy over his involvement with a far-right Hungarian group notorious for its collaboration with the Nazi regime during the second world war.

Wait, he's getting kicked out of the White House, but not out of the United States government? We don't want to issue any sweeping condemnations, but there SHOULD NOT BE NAZIS FUCKING WORKING IN THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT ANYWHERE. We don't care if they find him a job opening love letters to Melania, a job he probably doesn't have the clearances or education to do anyway.

CNN followed up Monday morning, reporting simply that its sources say Gorka "is expected to find an opportunity outside the White House soon," and "it's possible he would take another job in the administration, but ... it's more likely he will leave altogether." We certainly hope so!

The Daily Beast notes that if Gorka's ass gets kicked to the curb, it's probably because, without clearances or employable skills, he's literally just sitting around the White House smelling his own farts, while the American people keep yelling at the administration because THERE IS LITERALLY A NAZI IN THE WHITE HOUSE OH MY GOD:

One source described the situation to The Daily Beast as “a pain in the ass.” Gorka, the source said, has been “biding his sweet time,” with virtually no official substantive duties and or role in White House decision-making. [...]

But the controversies dogging Gorka have created headaches for a number of White House officials, and his apparent inability to participate in high-level policy discussions means keeping him on requires weathering bad press without any real upside.

Apparently, the only thing worse than having a regular Nazi in the White House is having a LAZY, USELESS NAZI in the White House. (Steve Bannon's job is still safe as far as we know, by the way.)

Of course, Gorka's departure will be a great loss for America, because he is such an expert on Muslims, an expert who happens to wear Nazi medals and whom Nazi-affiliated groups claim as a member. 

Also, Trump will lose such a great spokesman, a guy who says things like this on television to Sean Hannity, with a straight face:

The era of the pajama boy is over January 20. And the alpha males are BACK.
