yup - as long as you support establishment corporate power in a calm, reasonable voice, the middle class will be fine with it. Even as their benefits are cut and their salaries flatline.

Which will come first?

1. The Coronavirus shifts from "pandemic" to "endemic", and we can go about our normal business because we have it under control and can properly and quickly treat anyone who catches it.2. Joe Biden is inaugurated.3. A reporter calls El Presidente out to his face with words to the effect of "Great God in heaven, just how stupid and incompetent are you?"

A lobotomized one year old chimpanzee in a coma could have done better. HHS Secretary Azar is responsible. But he will sacrifice Kadlec on the Alter of CYA.

It would be irresponsible NOT to speculate.

I know the hubster and I are getting no-contact grocery pick up, and zooming Dr appointments because we expect a spike in a week or so.

Mother's got some nice gams, but she would look better in dresses with a waist.

Places that did not get their share of remdisivir are better off. Kidney failure is a major risk of Covid 19 patients, particularly the very sick patients to whom this drug is supposed to go. Unfortunately, kidney failure is a side effect of remdisivir. Catch-22.

This drug won't save anyone's life or cure any symptoms. Relatively few people who get on ventilators with C 19 get off the ventilator. For those who do, this drug purportedly shortens your "recovery" time from 15 days to 11--allegedly.

Mostly, remdisivir has been good for Gilead executives and shareholders. If the White House is hyping a treatment, it probably needs a Mr. Yuck warning on it.
