You know, with a college education (or the ability to get one), and a willingness to take on jobs many won't do, you can make a nice career for yourself.
I was underemployed as an ELA teacher back in the day, did not like the "underemployed" part, and went back and got my SpEd credential. It's been gravy ever since in terms of jobs, and the work is highly personally satisfying.
Get off your butts, white folk, and act like you've got a pair (testes or ovaries, your choice).
I don’t see what so hard to understand…how can the white guy who had a solid family life, plenty of healthy food and clean water, who lived in a community with good schools, and could afford to go to a good university himself, not be the only reasonable choice for everything?
Repeatedly, though only by other white supremacists so as to be culturally sensitive to his sensibilities. They seem like fun guys to get to know intimately.
DEI programs do result in the most qualified applicants getting hired, because otherwise applications from non-whites get less consideration, even if more qualified on paper.
And that's what these white supremacist assholes really hate.
Why would you think that when the FBI director is a Republican (who refused to investigate the 4500 complaints phoned in against Brett Kegger pre-confirmation), the FBI still does "Black extremist" surveillance of peaceful Black Lives Matter activists with no criminal records or violence histories, they slow-walked all the white supremacist terrorist prosecutions after Jan 6 when we SAW the terrorists destroy the Capitol and bring in a Confederate flag, which didn't even happen during the Civil War ... and we don't know how many of those Bubba redneck terrorists the FBI guys are actually related to?
Honestly, what country do White people believe we're all actually living in?
This is a very sad and important story about our times. I am, tho', very thankful for the direction to BestNeighborhood.org a site I didn't know existed.
It really is bothersome that we live in a time when diversity, equity, & inclusion are considered bad things. Unfortunately, Utah - a state that makes decisions based on the LDS Church & Fox News, has now hopped on the anti-DEI train.
I watched "Woman in Gold" last night. It's about holocaust survivor Maria Altmann's successful effort to reclaim (among other things) the Gustave Klimt painting of her aunt that was stolen from her family when the Nazis occupied Vienna. It's a very poignant and moving film that offers a preview of what we can expect from the Trumpists if the citizens of this country don't send him and his violent extremists packing. What happened to Mr. Albehadli is just a mild part of the opening act.
Someone who identifies as White is too often trying to steal something valuable from a family who is identified as "not White" by the advantage-taking White person
I believe Liberty University, the school Jerky Falwell founded, has a pilot training program, so it's possible you could be in a place operated by someone who thinks the earth is 6,000 years old.
Even better, near where I grew up, there's an ultra-fundamentalist college, run by the type who thinks Falwell is too liberal. One of their graduates is now an MD, meaning there's a doctor out there who does not believe in evolution. (I'm curious how he got into medical school, since that usually requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited school, and they are unaccredited by choice. Perhaps he did other undergrad work elsewhere or attended a medical school outside the US with laxer standards.)

Interesting how life in war-torn Iraq prepared him for recognizing the nuances of US right-wing politics.
If they know who did it, why hasn't Murdough-boy been run out of Maine?

Ta, Robyn. This is such a fucking outrage that I'd better stop with my thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Maine, my favorite vacation state, very sad.
Here in Oregon, we refer to "the other white Portland."
Well this just shows why DEI is needed more than ever.
And that white supremacists should get fucked in jail cells.
Repeatedly, though only by other white supremacists so as to be culturally sensitive to his sensibilities. They seem like fun guys to get to know intimately.
Then we might have to hear about them in news reports on prison conditions. I prefer "oubliette with extreme prejudice."

Exactly so
So the FBI or someone will be coming after this creep?

I realise it's not likely, but one can hope.
"Honestly, what country do White people believe we're all actually living in?"
"M":
Warte, warte, nur ein Weilchen,
Kommt der Hackemann zu dir...
Brown people are Indigenous to the Americas. White people are not. How stupid is this guy? Very. He's very stupid.

Second time today I've really missed the Angry Face emoji reaction.

Of course they have, the church there didn't accept black or brown missionaries in their whacko religious cult until they absolutely had to!
“merit based society” = The Golden Rule = "He who has the gold; makes the rules"

Maybe the bigots need a DEI program that encourages white-wing morons to be pilots and doctors... oh wait.

Maybe he's a "doctor" the same way Rand Paul is an "ophthalmologist".
