Who Does Leading Gun Humper Larry Pratt Want To Murder With Guns This Week?

Larry Pratt, the "executive director emeritus" of Gun Owners of America (sorry we missed your retirement party!), issued another of his periodic calls for Americans to prepare to start shooting their constitutional leaders to preserve the Constitution, as the Constitution calls for in Larry Pratt's very fertile if singleminded imagination. Gun Owners of America, you'll recall, is the hardcore Second Amendment-lovin' group for people who think the NRA has gotten too liberal. And Larry Pratt is a guy who knows how to protect the Constitution, even from liberal wimps like Antonin Scalia. 

But now that Scalia has gone and kicked it, the fortuitously named Pratt is worried someone even less in love with the Second Amendment might make it onto the Supreme Court. Especially if Americans make the mistake of voting the wrong way, which the Constitution appears to allow due to some flaw in the parts of it that are not the Second Amendment.

Over the weekend, on Pratt's internet "radio" show, the "Gun Owners News Hour," Pratt spoke to Robert Knight, a senior fellow at the rightwing "American Civil Rights Union," whichreally protects civil liberties, the way those commies at the ACLU don't. Knight warned "if a liberal Democrat is elected president, then there goes the Supreme Court, it could be two, three, four justices, and I think the Second Amendment would be in great peril if that happens.” And by golly, you know what that means: Time to restore the Constitution by gunning down some elected leaders and members of the Court:

As everyone knows, when We The People choose representatives who govern contrary to the way We The REAL People prefer, the Second Amendment says it's time for some massacres of The Enemy Within:

And at that point, we would have to come to an understanding, which we’ve been sort of taught, it’s been taught out of us, that the courts do not have the last word on what the Constitution is. They decide particular cases, they don’t make law. Their decisions, unlike the Roe v. Wade usurpation, don’t extend to the whole of society, they’re not supposed to. And we may have to reassert that proper constitutional balance, and it may not be pretty. So, I’d much rather have an election where we solve this matter at the ballot box than have to resort to the bullet box.

Stupid Marbury v Madison! Knight offered, rather lamely, "Well, there’s impeachment, too." But Pratt already made it clear Congress is too wimpy to do its job and impeach people who need to be shot instead.

Most recently, Pratt warned Merrick Garland that it would be a real shame if someone had to shoot him so he'd understand what the Second Amendment is all about.

We are beginning to wonder if perhaps there is no real Larry Pratt anymore, just a heavily sedated shell and a set of recordings saying "________ needs Americans to take up arms to remind him/her/them what the Constitution really means." You know, like in that Nazis-in-space episode of Star Trek.
