and dear GOD the manure smell! every once in a while it wafts thru town taking your breath away.

that being said, we often drive from chicago.(when all's said and customs are done it's about the same 8 hours...). i don't really see much difference b/t the hellscapes of IL (chicago suburbs = 9th circle of hell), IN and southern ON.

in MI of course, the trees are just the right height.
