Meh, I don't know what you're worried about. Commercialization is inevitable and will result in bland commercialized product sold in chain stores staffed with clueless drones. This is actually not a bad thing, because it will stabilize the industry and protect the niche connoisseur mom and pop shops where people who have a desire for quality and knowledgeable service will go.

We're still at the stage where most people don't understand what strains are all about, so making it mainstream and comfortable will get the masses educated faster. Educated people will graduate to connoisseur status the instant they are capable of distinguishing between chemically-fed mass produced schwag and lovingly grown by actual stoners organic top-shelf.

I'm kinda curious what impact this will have on Reeferman. Will he have to rename his strain? Or will Willie co-opt him and distribute his seeds?
