True, he did vote for the ACA, giving Democrats the 60 votes needed, but that was one of very few votes he did cast in 2009. He wasn't routinely available during those first eight months of Obama's first term passing Obama's agenda left and right.
I think it's actually simpler-- It wasn't any of our business, so we should have let him slaughter his opponents with airstrikes. After which maybe the wingnuts would ask why Obama did nothing to stop it.
