US politics has turned into an ethnic decision. "Republican" or "Conservative" now has the full force of saying "Protestant" in Northern Ireland or "white" in pre-1994 South Africa.

~5%/day increase in cases is a "flat" response? Only to a Republican politician, who's last math class was 7th grade algebra. It still looks exponential to me. They must have focused in April 11, the only day in the last 6 weeks that no new cases were reported.
