So, the court ordered the state legislature to fix the district maps? Asking the repubs who did the original fuckery to fix it is ridiculous. They are going to drag this out until the next election, and it will be too late to do anything but use the old, fixed districts. The court should have taken over redrawing the districts. They should take their cue from Ohio. Four times, the Supreme Court rejected the proposed maps as unconstitutional, so the Republicans took it to court. First, they did a little judge shopping. They found a federal judge who out-and-out said he'd find for the Republicans if the case landed on his docket and specified which of the four proposed maps he'd approve.
