While the words seem over the top, if I am correct in thinking that the question of the job was not discussed among all the justices, then that is a classic example of stupid management.

Shooting one's self in the toe, perhaps.

"In 2015, following the approval of a constitutional amendment by voters, the court's conservative majority swapped out a liberal chief justice for a conservative one."

You libs, always looking backwards. We must forget about the past, whether it be changes to a state Supreme Court, slavery, voting rights, the rights of individuals that I personally don't approve of, or who lynched whom. Let's move forward and forget all about who is responsible. It makes me uncomfortable.

Fuck Ted Cruz.

How do people become this way?

Speaking of secret decisions, those maps were drawn up under the thin disguise of attorney/client privilege and backed up with NDAs.

The FarQ aren't against such actions, but only when the ones doing it are themselves.

A little OT. Years ago in basic training we had people who would sew your name tag (last only) on our newly issued fatigues. One guy had a five or six letter name. Something like WICZYK. Well they sewed his tags on upside down! It took us a while before anybody noticed it!

Hilarious how Republicans are so quick to clutch their pearls and grab their fainting couches when Democrats ACTUALLY exercise the power that they were granted by WE THE PEOPLE.

You know, the people who are ostensibly in charge of this country.

"Wisconsin progressives hope that the new four-seat liberal majority on the state supreme court "

Sorry to nit pick, but the four justices provide a one-seat majority.

And let's copy the GQP: It's a one-seat Constitutional majority.

I'd argue that four-seat majority is OK; different from majority of four seats. Not as clear as it might be but not incorrect.

"Being right is *not* nit-picking."

No, but constantly telling everybody about it is. Signed: Another Grumpy Old Guy

"So far, none of the lawless members of the court’s new majority has commented on why they chose to replace Koshnick"

Whatever it was , it was something as it was immediately done, faster than a speeding locomotive. Sounds like all these people have been around in Wisconsin for some time. Could be some old beef, from deep in the woods of Wisconsin politics, just got settled.

The liberal majority hasn't been in power a week and already they're reheating fish in the court microwave. YOU GO TOO FAR SIR

We had an intern that did that. I nearly threw him out the window because the kitchen was right outside my office door.
