I love Scrooged unabashedly, it's awesome and 80s and punky and ridiculous and Bill Murray! Just watching it earlier and recognizing the composer of the opening sequence and had to check...yep, Danny Elfman! The whole movie is rather Burtonesque in fact.

Final comment:

Which movie was better???? The Night The Reindeer Died Vs. Red One???

Who's the better actor??? Lee Majors vs Dwayne Johnson???

This proves my point, Scrooged totally predicted the future that we currently call reality.

I wish I were curled up on my couch watching Scrooged with yall. To this day, I think of this movie and laugh every time I think of the word “towel.”

It's The Muppet Christmas Carol or GTFO.

That looks good and I will try to watch it. IMHO, the best one so far is the George C. Scott from 1984. It is absolutely terrifying, as it should be, and Scott gets that across powerfully. It is a heartwarming tale in some ways, but a wake up call, as is typical with Dickens. Which ever one you watch, enjoy and TAKE HEED! Humbug!

My pick for the best animated adaptation of A Christmas Carol would have to be the visually dazzling and Oscar winning 1971 version directed and produced by Richard Williams.

Boom, pow. AM workout worked out.

150 reps triceps/arms/shoulders (sore from yesterday)

200 reps abs inc a 2-min plank, 2 positions

260 reps ballet barre battement butt nonsense. I'll never have "saddlebags", I know that much.

Half a cup non-fat Greek w. a tsp agave nectar to recover. Had a med. boiled egg early.

***tiny font: had a couple spoonfuls dark choc chips for energy boost pre-workout. 👀 👀
