I'm thinking that when the story wraps up, it should be collected, given a few editorial tweaks, and then published as a short novel.
I doubt they're going to go for a "but *my* abortion is *justified*!" approach. I think she's just going to get an abortion because suddenly becoming a single mother is going to derail her whole life, and that's reason enough.
What makes my blood run ICE cold is the fact that already in too many Red districts and states this same sort of hellish, life-upending, devastating scenario is already happening in real time.
