It is just agonizing to wait an entire WEEK for the following edgy segment of this thoroughly gripping tale!
If I get down on my scarred up knees and BEGGED would the esteemed Wonkette consider providing TWO gripping aspects of this ongoing story for those of us perennially on the edge of our respective seats awaiting the next undulation of the plot?
Skepti, you and I both know that if we started getting two a week, it would only be a month at most before we were begging for three. Then four. Then the rest of the story, pretty please, I really really really want to know how this turns out.
I think reading webcomics has toughened me up for this -- Girl Genius feels like it's been going on forever now, from four years of physical comic books that came out on an extremely irregular schedule, to 2005 when web pages started showing up three days a week like clockwork, and yet the story is still (probably) not even at the half-way point yet.
Questionable Content has gone through 5000+ strips over 21 years now and the fanbase estimates we've covered about a year of time inside the comic. Maybe.
Don't know how many more of you have subscribed to "The Split"'s substack, but I have to say I like getting that little jump-start by having read it yesterday. Neener-neener!
That being said, I'm always enjoying the delight of Lorinda discovering "new," formerly normal aspects of life before her part of the country went fucking nuts.
Always so much love for Brooklyn-style pizza, but give me a square of cheesy, crusty, Detroit-style pizza any day! :) Maybe Lorinda will end up in the Dirty D with our esteemed Editrix :)
“The only kind we get comes on little muffins. It’s like: muffin, a slice of tomato, and some cheese on top. Open-faced.”
That's OK: I didn't really want to eat breakfast anyway...
What soulless monster invented that and had the gall to call it pizza?

Me, too. Then I jump straight to the comments here on Wonkette on Mondays to see what y'all are saying about it all.

Waiting eagerly for RocketCat's installment of (lick) The Split, a mockumentary about Empty G and Boobert in their DC love nest.!
