I've always said that if there are pitiless, unstoppable robot assassins in our future, it's easy to guess who'll design them, and if there ever is a war between intelligent machines and human beings, it's easy to guess who will start it.

I recently read a TechBro take on AI. Short version: don't ever regulate it, regulation bad, you will kill the goose that will shower you with golden eggs, yes, even the proletariat. Oh, that promise never panned out before? But it's different now!
