I'm curious what epipen they think we use. Do the copyright laws suddenly get tossed out when moving north of the border or something? What I'm getting at is most of it is the same stuff.
Also, if you have to buy something we bought from you in order to keep prices down, that's the problem you should be focused on, not trying to get around it by buying it from us. I mean it makes a good stop gap measure that will force cross border competition and maybe the mystic forces of the market will overcome exclusivity agreements (it won't, but it's a nice dream) but seriously stop pussyfooting around and fix that shit.
I have been buying drugs from Canada for years because my cheap ass healthplan has one of my meds on Tier Three formulary which has a high deductible and high copays-- it costs me 1/3 of what it would cost me if I used my insurance if get it from Canada. It seems that private importation slips through due to some loophole. Also, in Canada, that drug is a generic but in the USA it is only available as a branded drug, so it is obvious the US manufacturer is using the FDA to fatten their bottom line
I take back loving on Mr. Booker (though I still thought he did a nice job on Mr. Sessions). That's a serious blow since it could have passed.......
And a right nasty Fuck You to the Senate who want to expunge the good we do have: pre-existing conditions, spawn on plan until 26, and birth control. Rusty chainsaw, etc.
If 12 Republicans voted for this, there's something we're missing. One or two I could imagine but TWELVE? Whatever my issues with Booker et al's vote, there's got to be a catch if Ted Fucking Cruz voted for this.
aren't most of these drugs made here in the US and then imported into canada? so we're not really importing drugs from canada, more like reimporting them. maybe they got canadian cooties on them up there (they're covered in maple syrup?) so now they're dangerous for americans.
