I grew up in Aspen during the 70s-80s. The influential parents of my time there ranged from John Denver to Hunter S. Thompson. Trying to find ways to inspire influencers of today by some of the originals…before the computer.
So, I have created this series of articles. I am calling it…”Voices of the past talking about the present, trying to inspire a better future” … be it Positive or Gonzo. The deal is, I will stop writing when Trump stops giving me things to write about. Now it’s up to him. We all know how Hunter felt about Nixon…double that sentiment for Trump.
Ta, Marcie. Every accusation is a confession. And That Thing in the Offal Office simply cannot accept that ANY woman of color is smarter than he. Get 'im, Tish!
Trump’s “law and order” government now literally means “indict the people who indicted me.” The woman who prosecuted him for fraud is now charged with… fraud. It’s like watching a toddler shout “no, YOU’RE the poopyhead” and then appoint himself judge.
When justice bends this far toward vengeance, the whole system starts to smell like the inside of a gold-plated courtroom Bible.
I just finished watching a Substack video on this topic with Preet Bharara and Joyce Vance, and what jumped out at me is that this latest indictment is NOT about the home originally targeted (which her niece lives in), but about a third home. That said, it's still BS, but it's maybe a step closer to being prosecutable.
Funny how Trump and his lawyers seem to know so much of the fine details and loopholes people exploit to commit mortgage fraud. Wonder where that knowledge base came from?
He works from an office dubbed the “Freedom Suite” on one end of a hallway on the deputy attorney general’s fourth floor, which *visitors have described as being decorated with oversize photos of Trump and a small cup of holy water on the wall.*
Jesus fucking christ, this is supposedly a grown man. MAGA, tell us again how you're not in a cult?
I wonder if Letitia has any regrets for not going after felon-47 for income tax evasion and putting his azz in prison, getting rid of this a-hole once and for all? She should have struck while the iron was hot, right after the first set of felony convictions.

Lollipop Oakes was clearly auditioning for a part in the next David Simon series.

"decorated with oversize photos of Trump and a small cup of holy water on the wall."
*cringes*
It's called wall font. Does the WSJ not have anyone on staff who can properly identify standard Catholic décor?
A font of holy water.
What'd Tim Walz call them?
Oh yeah.
Weird.
All I can hope is that these suits are so poorly presented and executed that judges disbar her on the spot. Fuck Rump!!
I’d like to splash the holy water Ed Martin has in his office on him and see how he reacts.
"I'm melting, I'm melting. What a world, what a world."

Has anyone asked the proven rapist, fraud and censor-in-chief when they are going after Ken Paxton for his mortgage fraud?
https://www.cbsnews.com/texas/news/ken-angela-paxton-mortgage-primary-residence-homestead-exemption/
Or do they not do it when it actually happens?
And if Halligan was the only attorney to sign off on this, how long until it gets thrown out since she is not properly appointed?
Judge should toss this frivolous suit and sanction Halligan for filing it.

Excellent point.

"Who can forget him claiming Mar-a-Lago was worth $18 million for the Palm Beach taxman, but $1.8 BILLION for bragging purposes?"
$18M vs. $1.8B? It's conceivable that he didn't know how to write out dollar amounts.
