Not all of them, just the hateful ones.

I think the term some people are searching for to describe what happened to Ms. Dill is "euthenasia." The GOP has decided that there are people we can simply do without. In Germany in the 1930's, as part of Action T4, posters clearly stated the amount of money the Reich would save for every undesirable, especially the sick and disabled.

What's the difference between T4 (which the Nazis suspended under pressure from the Church) and the Senate bill?

Medicare is next.

No worries, Zip. The GOP will be coming for Medicare too. This will brighten your day unless I misunderstand you.

The obvious explanation for most of my fellow Florduhians not being bothered by monstrous behavior is obvious.

These people have been dying for years because of a lack of healthcare option. Now though, there's no excuse- shame on you GOP. When your hatred for the other team so totally eclipses your love of country that you'd see America turn into a third world hellhole just to win elections and gain power, it's time to hang it up and do serious soul searching. WTF has happened to so many people that they're OK with this?

those geriatrics are not actually voting against their own interest though (we have the same retiree problem here in AZ). They already have theirs in terms of Medicare and Social Security- they just don't don't want to pay for anyone else getting theirs. It's the same reason these selfish fucks vote against raising property taxes- their kids are out of school so they don't give a shit if the classrooms disintegrate into dust- they got that sweet public education for themselves and their kids, so fuck everyone else if it means paying one more dime in taxes (unless it comes to financing assholes like Shurf Joe- they'll throw all the money in the world at assuaging their irrational fear of brown people, "lawsuits be damed, I'm old and I'm scared!")

Know what has 1,000 assholes and six teeth? A Tea Party convention in Pensacola. And right now, they call the shots in Tallahassee. FFS.

Who are the "people" they are representing? 3 retirement communities full of mean spirited assholes? It doesn't seem the FL gubmit is really about the people.

The problem with her friend trying to crowdsource money for her meds is that the Repugnantcans will see that as a perfectly viable solution. They probably hope someone will crowdsource her kids' futures, too. Fuck these monstrous fucks.

The Republican Party has two branches: the Greed branch and the Bloodlust branch. Of the 58 million people in America who voted for Romney and McCain, I think the great majority are from the Greed branch. They deal with the Charlene Dills by covering their ears and going lalalalalalalaIcan'thearyou. They pretend that such people don't exist, or deserve their fate, or aren't really poor, or whatever lameass excuses let them sleep at night. But in the voting booth, they are only thinking: my federal taxes are too high.

Sent him some money earlier this year, even though I've sworn only to send money to Senate campaigns. But I like Crist, and I just can't stand what is happening to Florida.

Thank heavens for the GOP, who on top of everything else believe in making it even harder for two people to get divorced.

Hey, GOP, I know that the ACA is not perfect, nor are Medicare and Medicaid. There is a way to improve them, and probably to cut costs at the same time. It is called Single Payer. It will, however, result in negative job creation at insurance companies.
