This is the greatest news in the history of aviation: Southwest Airlines, which has sought a presence at Reagan National Airport for years, will finally gain entry through its planned, $1.4 billion cash and stock acquisition of AirTran Airlines. Southwest operates several flights from Dulles International Airport and is the dominant carrier at BWI, but has not gained coveted access to National until now.
Now Rick Perry will be able to appear on the U.S. Capitol steps and demand that they leave Texas alone.
Thirty years ago Southwest had very strong, free drinks. I once got served a double bourbon just as we were descending over the tarmac and one frozen Sunday at 6 a.m. was able to get the same as all the juices and water for coffee were frozen. NEVER FORGET !
Those are only used to bring international arrivees to customs...you get to the terminals on a train now.
Witness the future of airline seating. Witness! <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.c..." target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/09/15/new-airp...">http://www.huffingtonpost.c...
