Same old, same old. Dubya started his presidential campaign in 1999 bragging about reforming education in Texas, when what he was referring to was a bill that was passed over his veto. Thing is, these Re-pukes never have any accomplishments to point to, being too busy shoveling money to their campaign contributors and pursuing their war against civilization (culture wars). So of course they have to steal credit from those who EARNED IT, earned it in the face of the best fight these reactionary scum could put up. Their voters are too indoctrinated to realize the con, anything that calls into question the honesty of the usual liars can be denounced as "fake news" paid for by History's Greatest Monster ((((George Soros)))) and even if an actual honest journalist calls them on their lies, the rest will ignore the story, so it dies right there. Just a dying spark in the darkness.
That cherubic woman is a raging trump puppy. She Reps the District South of mine, and every day I’m grateful that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz continues to hold on against the trumpist hoard that is ruining Miami.
I know I've mentioned this before, but we've had a word for this in Texas for a while. It's Grammstanding, after Senator Phil Gramm, who was notorious for voting against stuff and then showing up at the ribbon-cutting to take credit.
"Okay, yeah, sure... maybe I told them not to send that money here. But once they did... ONCE THEY DID, I absolutely signed the big check and 'brought it'. You're welcome."
Tax and spend sounds terrible until you see the results of shared investment in our common infrastructure. Heck even wasteful municipal spending on a new stadium can dazzle, let alone projects that make life easier for people.

Wait, Dammit! I'm not done lying!!
It’s a simple test. If it benefitted her constituents, she voted against it. That’s how republicans roll.
I know it's not very professional, but I'd like to see reporters start calling Republicans fucking liars when they fucking lie.
Ta, Stephen. Salazar feigns ignorance. Fucking troll.
Jim DeFede brought the receipts. She feigns ignorance and gets away with it.
What kind of human being would vote for someone like her?
The FARQMAGA voter base apparently. If they can be considered "human".

"Now, Bart, we could argue about who forgot to pick up who..."
"If I wasn't present there might not have been a quorum, and then they couldn't pass anything -- so there."

Nobody has any issue with the 'spend' part, but nobody wants to pay for it either.
Is this the person cooking up delicious Shutterstock breakfasts for her family?
Different fraudster
Why do so many Republican politicians sound like George Santos (accent aside)? Other then because they are all lying......
