We seem to do the Massachussetts thing on a regular basis: 75% pinko voters elect a "businessman" Republican. I suspect they get nervous about sending an army of liberals into the halls of power, and put a conservative in charge of the show as a precaution.

Doesn't speak terribly well of Wagner that he missed a "fucking" when going through with the bleeper. Not because of the language, of course, I don't give a flying fuck about that, but just the lack of thoroughness. If you're gonna bleep, bleep properly!

Seriously, comments like this are one of the many reasons I love our Wonket, even tho' it doesn't allow comments.

No new firefighting academy in Boise? How did the lamestream media bury this lede?

And does it really take a ballot initiative to build an essential public service facility in Idaho? Christ, it's just a couple of shell buildings and a classroom....Maybe there are some things the free market will not provide. Luckily, fire insurance is widely available!

Can we vote for a state to secede even if we don't live there?

that does seem to be the leading meme today from the lazy stenographers- Cooch lost because 'too much rigid ideology' and Christie is a 'moderate, pragmatic' GOPer.

Blerch, I can't bear to listen to that drivel for the next 3 years

When do the rest of us get to vote on ejecting Texas?
