I noticed you didn't get one upvote for your comment. My guess is because this board has been totally overtaken by the delusion that everyone in America hates their health insurance company, and wants M4A. Ironically, I support M4A, but I know it's not a popular position, so I wish everyone in the Democratic party would STFU about it. It would make way more sense to talk about expanding and improving Obamacare, and lowering drug prices.
I posted a link to a Jon Chait article the other day that said "Democrats better get their shit together and start running on popular ideas," which is something I've been saying for months. He pointed to Elizabeth Warren's proposal to increase SS payouts by $200 a month, to be paid for by increased taxes on the wealthy. YAY! Finally someone comes up with a simple, good idea.
I kind of get a kick out of it that everyone on this board thinks they know more about health care than the Kaiser Foundation does, but I think this delusion that we should ignore polls, and just try to force people to do what the far left wing of our party wants, is ultimately going to lose us the upcoming election. I am going to be so furious if we manage to lose to an unpopular buffoon like Trump, just because we can't figure out what the MAJORITY of people want. It's not hard.
That's what kills me - I think she was a good singer. It was her weird mouth movements that creeped me out.
