Pretty much everybody reacted with horror and disgust when that one juror in the Zimmerman trial went on a media blitz, said all sorts of awful things, and was shamed into silence, all within three days of the verdict. We all thought, "Oh, wow, with people like her on juries, we are SO SCREWED!" Remember? So now, here comes another Zimmerman juror, and who seems far nicer and thoughtfuller, and she says she thinks George Zimmerman "got away with murder," but also that under Florida law she had no choice but to acquit, even though she feels terrible about it, and we are left saying "Oh, wow, if Florida law makes a conviction impossible, even with people like her on juries, we are SO SCREWED!"
Stand Your Ground says you can use deadly force as a first resort instead of a last resort. With all the violent video games and movies, you'd think the NRA would be concerned about citizens turning into murdering thugs. HA HA HA. The NRA is on the side of al Queda and other gun-wielding terrorists.
SYG was also introduced via Zimmerman's videos. So even though it wasn't technically invoked by the defense, it very much played a part in this trial
From what I understand the 'Stand Your Ground' Law does not contain an exception for the instigator of an assault. As long as a person thinks that they are in deadly danger, they may shoot whoever is fighting or threatening them, even if the person being threatened is the one who began the confrontation. Welcome to Dodge City, ladies and gentlemen.

And to think the 'Pubes used to call it "sacred human life".
When is dropping bombs ever not funny?
Wait, Zimmerman's attorney told the jury that Zimmerman was the real victim.

The quote is from Juror B-29.
Another Zimmerman victim.
The jurors had unreasonable doubt.
