Rayburn Rescue Operation
Wonkette's Rayburn operative writes:
So much for a normal Monday on Capitol Hill.
As we speak, no fewer than 10 D.C. firefighters are on the Rayburn roof attempting a daring rescue of a window washer who couldn't quite finish the job. D.C. firefighters are in full rock climbing gear, equipped with flashlights on their helmets should they not finish before dark.
Eight camera crews are at the scene with all major networks, 5 ladder trucks are there and no fewer than 20 emergency vehicles. The poor schlub has 8 cameras pointed at him.
Geez, Kucinich will do just about anything for attention these days. . .
UPDATE: Everyone on solid ground. Rescue crews can return to saving people from cicada attacks.
