SOURCE: Rudy Giuliani Hasn't Gotten The 'Rudy Giuliani's Political Career Is Over' Memo

This might come up!Not sure if this nightmarish requiem is official, but "sources say" that America's mayor, Rudy Giuliani -- who recently ran the worst presidential campaign in American history, centered around his major career accomplishment of having the worst terrorist attack in American history strike New York City's two tallest buildings under his watch -- is planning to run for Senate in next year's special election, to fill the last two years of Hillary Clinton's term. This will be the snarling beast's stepping stone to the presidency, once and for all! (No, that's really his plan.) Everyone loves a guy who was mayor of a city 10 years ago!

This of course would be Rudy's second run for Senate, kind of! He ran against Hillary Clinton in 2000 for a little while, but then he got prostate cancer and dropped out like a wuss. Which was great for New York City! Had he defeated Clinton and resigned as mayor, the city would've been completely unsafe all over again, and something like 9/11 could have happened.

Here's the official word from a "source familiar with Giuliani's thinking," which could be anyone with an IQ over 40:

A source familiar with Giuliani's thinking said the failed presidential candidate has been telling people he plans to run against Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand in 2010 to fill out the remaining two years of Hillary Clinton's term.

If elected, the source said, he could use that as a stepping stone to run for President in 2012 - rather than run for re-election to the Senate.

First we take the Senate, see? Then we leave the Senate and take the White House, see? Nyuk nyuk nyuk...

He really needs to learn to be more amiable, you know? Just a really off-putting guy.
