Did you know that Mormonoligist Republican presidential candidate Willard "Mitt" Romney is secretly a Mexican? It's true! We read it in the Salt Lake Tribune!The column is by their editorial cartoonist (this particular story was apparently too complex to be illustrated by, say, drawing Mitt in a large comedy sombrero). And it's sure to send shockwaves through the Mexican-Morman-Republican community.

In fact, he comes from a long line of Mexicans.

Because, you see, the Romneys escaped anti-polygamy persecution by fleeing from the US to Mexico back in 1884, where they remained for a couple generations of free Mormon lovin'. George Romney was born there! Which meant it was kinda weird when he tried to run for President, but if they're letting John McCain do it than anything goes.

Why cartoonist Pat Bagley felt the need to explain this easily Wiki'd bit of public knowledge in a SHOCKING EXPOSE is a total mystery! But if it stops Mitt from taking the job of President away from an American then we're all for it.
