Monsignor Jim Lisante delivered the invocation at this year's New York Republican convention. Here's a short video clip:


For those of you stuck in office cubicles who can't play videos, Msgr. Lisante told Republicans "to remember to love each other" (but presumably not in this way). He then urged supporters of the competing GOP candidates not to "hate the other guy," because "[t]he other guy, whoever he is, is still better than Eliot Spitzer."

Surprising partisanship for an invocation? Maybe, but not that surprising. It was the GOP convention -- and Lisante is a regular contributor to Fox News.
