The Race for First Family
Sunday's NYT
Magazine feature on the children of presidential candidates officially started what we like to call "The Progeny Primary." The race's first losers? The ones who refused to participate in the feature. (Dean, Kucinich, Braun, Sharpton) The winners? There are no clear front-runners to this highly judgmental eye. Kerry's daughters have a Gore-Girls-type wholesome sexiness (you can see Alex's bra strap!), but they're, like, OLD (27 and 30). Wesley Clark III is also old (34), but pretty darn cute and his very existence is the strongest proof yet that his daddy is not, in fact, a robot.
