Thompson's Presidential Campaign About Nothing
New York Post writer Kyle Smith steps into the political monkey cage with a piece comparing sentorian slackjaw Fred Thompson with Kramer from Seinfeld. We presume Thompson will now commence hating on the blacks. But before all that, take a moment to ponder the high-grade, uncut aimless buffoonery:
Much of what Thompson says is as nonsensical as Kramer blurting out, "Yo-Yo Ma!" Thompson once asked a reporter for a transcript of their conversation so he could find out what he had just said. "I found myself talking on some subjects that I haven't really thought that much about," he said, adding, "Oh, so this is what I think, huh?"
But wait! There's More!
Is Thompson's hilarious presidential campaign for real? (Asked about the Jena Six, Thompson said, "I don't know anything about that," and, in Florida, said he had no opinion on the Terri Schiavo case.) Or is it on a par with Kramer's invention of a garbage disposal for the shower so you can pare vegetables while you soap your armpits?
Yeah, that last one.
