Top McCain Adviser Will Quit, Because He Loves Obama More
Mark McKinnon is Old Man McCain's most beloved media adviser. When you're running for president, it's important to have the kind of loyal top staffers who will support you at all costs. That's why McKinnon is telling the media that he'll quit McCain's campaign if Obama is the Democratic nominee. Wait, what?
McKinnon told NPR that he'll just have to bail on McCain because Obama will be such a great president:
"I would simply be uncomfortable being in a campaign that would be inevitably attacking Barack Obama," said McCain adviser Mark McKinnon in an interview with NPR's All Things Considered. "I think it would be uncomfortable for me, and I think it would be bad for the McCain campaign."
That's the kind of faithful friend you really need when you're headed for a General Election you can't possibly win -- and McKinnon is just the man for quitting the job, as he's a "former" Democrat who worked for George W. Bush during the brutal 2000 primary battle against ... John McCain.
