Wasserman Schultz To Replace Tim Kaine, Who Is Taking Lobbyist Job At 'U.S. Senate'

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida said Tuesday she will work hard to win a second term for President Obama and usher in more Democrats to elected office when she officially takes over as the new chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee.

Wasserman Schultz, 44, replaces Tim Kaine, who announced today he is stepping down from the party post to run for the U.S. Senate in Virginia.

Ugh, another guy cashing in with ol' lobbyist job. Anybody ever heard of something called "PUBLIC SERVICE"?

Unfortunately for Democrats, Wasserman Schultz has always seemed like a talent in Congress, and her Florida seat could easily be one more that falls into the hands of the other party. And unfortunately for us, this move could lower the profile of our upcoming concept site, cockerspanielswholooklikedebbiewassermanschultz.tumblr.com. [USA Today]
