Pool Report #1
Bike Ride?
Aug. 25
For approximately an hour and a half, the president apparently did whatever he does in the woods. We did not see him; we saw only circumstantial evidence that his activity involved biking. (While the pool waited on the road at Walker's Point, someone carried a bike rack up the driveway). We were told, however, that the activity took place in the Massabesic Experimental Forest, situated, a local resident said, in Lyman and Alfred, Maine.(Emphasis added.)
And, uh, as we always say, there's no better place for... that... than an "Experimental Forest."
The obvious jokes aretooobvious. Fill 'em in yourselves in the comments if you need to.
Full report after the jump.

The drill went like this: The motorcade departed Walker's Point at 6:59 a.m. in a light but steady rain. It doubled back through Kennebunk and continued inland, breaking away from the pool vans at 7:29 a.m. The vans were halted on a public road, in the midst of a forest of pines, birch and oak. By then, a fairly heavy rain was falling on and off. We headed to a local convenience store to await the reassembling of the motorcade. Eventually, minus the motorcade, we returned to Walker's Point 9:20 a.m. John Roberts reported that the president ended the ride at a different point than that at which it began, and returned to the house two minutes ahead of the motorcade (despite the efforts of drivers Rachel and John to catch up).
