Karl threw a fastball that hit Valerie Plame but Joe Wilson is umpire and Patrick Fitzgerald is the sand and the first baseman has WMDs... Isn't the baseball metaphor most relevant to Scooter Libbey right now the one about "pitching" and "catching"?
