Donald Trump Says Hillary Clinton Better Say She's REAL Sorry For Stating The Obvious
Aw he's wagging his little bitty fingers in rage!
Donald Trump is butthurt and he's not going to take it anymore! After mean Hillary Clinton said half his supporters were a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad "basket of deplorables" -- she was referring to people who are "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic" -- he issued his list of demands before the National Guard Association in Baltimore on Monday:

Hillary still hasn't apologized to those she slandered. In fact, she hasn't backed down at all. She's doubled down on her campaign conspiracy and contempt. If Hillary Clinton will not retract her comments in full, I don't see how she can credibly campaign any further. Let's be clear -- these were not offhand comments from Hillary clinton. These were lengthy, planned and prepared remarks.
Yes, they were! Talking Points Memo reports that elsewhere in his talk, Trump referred to "cops, soldiers, carpenters, welders, the young and the old, and millions of working class families," saying "These were the people Hillary Clinton so viciously demonized. These were among the countless Americans Hillary Clinton called deplorable, irredeemable and un-American." Trump also said, "You cannot run for president if you have such contempt in your heart for the American voter."
Wonkette is sorry, but WE HAVE A BONE TO PICK WITH THIS! Is Donald Trump saying that cops and soldiers and carpenters and welders, young and old, are all fucking disgusting racists and sexists and homophobes, like the people who come to his rallies? Because we are pretty sure that #NotAllWelders are like that! We have a feeling many welders (and cops and carpenters and all the rest) are good and decent people, actually. They're probably voting for Hillary Clinton. So is she really showing contempt for the "American voter"? Or is she discussing "half" of Trump supporters -- she says she regrets saying "half," even though it's pretty accurate -- are gross and bad and un-American, and that they're being led around by the head pig of them all, Donald Trump? We think she is saying that.
Now we understand that, for the average person who lives inside the basket of deplorables, all those other decent, non-racist, non-sexist people aren't real Americans anyway, so they hear the dogwhistle when Trump says Hillary has contempt "for the American voter."
But Hillary knows exactly who she's talking about, and so has responded to Trump's call for her to apologize and drop out by instead releasing this video. It starts with Trump saying, "You can't lead this nation if you have such a low opinion for its citizens," and then just plays a bunch of Trump comments about what he really thinks about Americans. It's good TV!
Oh, by the way, Trump's running mate Mike Pence also refused on Monday to call KKK dude David Duke "deplorable," because Pence is not a name-calling name-caller like Hillary Clinton, and also probably because David Duke is a pretty good representative for the base of Trump's support, AKA the "basket of deplorables." So that is a thing that happened.
We know we are biased and in the tank, but we think Hillary Clinton wins this round. Oh, and she is getting better from pneumonia (SO SHE SAYS), so we can't wait to see the next thing she has to say that will hilariously puncture Trump's thin orange skin and make him wag his delicate little fingers around in anger.
