I'm going with FUBAR, myself. This can't be normal. I refuse this as "normal."

“she stated that healthcare was a right, "not a privilege," which if you ask us is an appeal to anybody who likes having health.“

You’d think, but then the red hats will realize that making health care a right for everyone includes those who didn’t have the decency to be born white, so they’d rather pay through the nose for health care than let Those People have it, too.

Meanwhile, this has to be the first time in history red state legislators have been falling over themselves to give money TO the federal government. And all it took was the possibility of keeping brown people out of Appalachia.

If I'm too anxious to drive, I'm sure as hell too anxious (and klutzy) to bike! I'm sure it would only take about 30 seconds for me to get doored, spill out into the street and promptly get run over by a dozen cars.

While I love the CTA imma still defaulting to the bike.

Though I suppose the $600 ER bill for black ice spill might count in the ‘expense’ column.

and $16 a day is a steal. my husband's daughter used to have an early bird special that still cost $35 at one job she worked on the magnificent mile a few years ago.

it's insane.

Cool otters!

I do work downtown, and the "early bird" *special* rate in the garage in my building is still $16 a day. So it would cost more just to park for 7 days than it does for my monthly pass (which I also use on the weekends and for personal travel around the city).

especially the parking fees/tickets, if you work downtown, will make you work two additional jobs.

Agreed! I want Stacey to run against the mediocre and ineffective David Purdue for Senator.

Fuck yeah we do! And it only costs $105 a month for unlimited rides if you buy a monthly pass. Compared to gas, insurance, parking, monthly payments it's a goddamned bar-goon! Plus - it allows me (someone who is too anxious to drive) to operate as an independent and functional adult.

Cap as portrayed in the MCU is (may the King forgive me) Cap as he should always have been. He's a GOOD man, a man with a strong moral compass who believes what he believes because he has thought it through with his head and his heart. And if someone needs punching he isn't afraid to do it himself. He makes mistakes, but when he does he owns them. He's one hell of a role model. I can see it in you, when you're at your best.
