Their absolute zero take on "the philosophy of Dark Souls" was utter cringe and showed that at least on some issues, they are WOEFULLY just not researching... like at all. High tuition has a lot of sources. For one, unis are always growing and building, and that's REALLY expensive, especially in colleges that are in cities. While sports is an issue I'll beat up on all day, NCAA isn't the source of a lot of these issues, ie University of California at Riverside doesn't have a football team so...And the other issue is the high cost of leadership and a ton of other externalities. And frankly I'm not too keen on a dude who bankrupted his own college telling us how to run all the colleges.
