I was always a headbanger and didn't veer from that until the early 90's. I didn't know much punk but once I ventured into alternative rock and broke my mold, I found all kinds of other music that I liked.
To tell the truth, Jimi Hendrix live concert on New Years 69/70 still gets about the most play in my house followed by Pearl Jam Jar of Flies.
As part of my Judaism 101 class, we just finished the chapter on Israel. The founding documents of the state declare equality for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, social status, religion, gender. One of their declared goals was uplifting all their neighbors. The reality is all too different.
Emma is the visitor, and she's pretty much leery of anybody who isn't me or Mr. MinS. She STRENUOUSLY objected to that strange man sticking a needle into her, hence the biting. She stayed away until this afternoon, so we've been forgiven. The paw is MUCH better, and she's weight-bearing on it now, although gingerly. Myrtle is our scared little tortie, and we were really afraid that she'd been so freaked by the vet/Emma fuss that she was scared enough to just run and run and run. We're just over the moon that she stayed close enough to remember where she lives.
(We have a feeling that pretty soon Emma will no longer be a visitor — she's curled up asleep on the bed as I type.)

Having been dragged back from the brink of death at the age of six, I can attest to the real danger of measles. It's even worse in adulthood.
Not Lowery, Nita Lowey.
Randy Rainbow is a national treasure, and cat/dog's cute.
