Suburban Plaza, which the owner has let get decrepit to entice developers was sold and renovated. The Cub Foods was turned into an LA Fitness. The whole area has been transformed. People come through on MARTA to do their shopping. There are more people out walking the area.I bought my condo at the bottom of the market in 2007 for $105K eleven years ago. I just finished the renovations and I love it.
While we have a few business folks who have had a hardon for the Olympics since the 70's. There will be a ballot issue on the spring election that ensures that before any bid for the Olympics can be pursued, the citizens of Colorado will get to vote on it. And it will never fucking pass.
