That man is the antithesis of Ataturk.

Boiled down to its core, yes, you are exactly right.

I've known a bunch of crackhead/methheads in my life and she looks just like them also too.

I got sooooo lucky here. We got married 24 years ago, bought a house, and I managed to finish out my Air Force career and retire here, and start working in civil service and retire again. The only way I'm going back to America is in a pine box. And I'm not particularly interested in that either. :-)

Bite your tongue! I have thought that for no minutes and believe I was the first to suggest that they are both working this deal to their own advantage. He's a lawyer and she's a whateverthefuck she is and this is what they do.

Moving sucks ass. I've always hated it, it always depresses the hell out of me, even when I was moving somewhere better. Commiserations.

On Erdogan: every April, young Australians and New Zealanders visit Turkey to pay homage to the fallen of the Gallipolli invasion in 1915. Erdogan is now saying "if they come in peace they're welcome, but if they want to start a fight we'll FUCK THEM UP ATATURK-STYLE". What a dingus.

How does Pence look to you? I ask because he seems to be in a catatonic seizure most of the time. Put a fistful of coronas in his hand and he would be the perfect statue in front of a cigar store.

Fear of change.

There are plenty of people in PA, as well as other formerly industrial states, that see their way of life disappearing forever. No longer can someone graduate from high school & go straight to work in a mine, mill, or factory. The kids with brains go to college, get jobs, & move away. The people moving to small towns & taking jobs with tree services, housepainters, & fast food workers may not have English as a first language or be Christian. it used to be that people were pretty much the same where they lived. Now they don't know what to expect or what their place in society is. That's scary, & they are powerless to stop it. Trump makes them feel powerful. They hold on to the hope that Dolt 45 will somehow bring their jobs & way of life back. Never gonna happen.

Just my 2 cents as a SWPA native.
