Yeah, I know. The problem with impeachment is that it's inherently a political process, and NOT necessarily a criminal proceeding. So, if this asshole ( and others ) say impeachment instead of indictment, they're basically admitting that they believe the President is "above the law".

Bullshit. "First Citizen" must still be subject to laws.

European Union President Donald Tusk on Tuesday delivered a strongly worded statement directed at President Donald Trump amid his ongoing criticism of NATO: "Appreciate your allies. After all, you don't have that many."

As Trump was set to travel to Brussels for a NATO summit, Tusk said, "I would like to address President Trump directly, who for a long time now has been criticising Europe almost daily for, in his view, insufficient contributions to the common defence capabilities, and for living off the US."

"Dear President Trump: America does not have, and will not have a better ally than Europe," Tusk added. "Money is important, but genuine solidarity is even more important."

A rhetorical question? Who does that anymore?

edit: If I were to do as such, it might only be to showcase the subjunctive mood. And yes: I am trying to be dryly and snarkily funny, fail though I may, spectacularly.

That was a rhetorical question.

"So you're saying that, in effect, the President is above the law?""No, that's not what I meant. I meant that the proper remedy in such cases is impeachment.""So you would be in favor of impeaching Trump, then?""Er...."

Read that and said Yesssssss!!!!Mrpth is terrified. His body and voice at that rally last week gave him away.He is such a miasma of corruption and multiple dealing he has lost whatever thread there was that made all his "enterprises" make sense to him.His GPS is dead, his phone has no buttons and he can't read his notes or the diagram/maps he drew to keep on top of his stuff.

I have that classic nightmare now and then, but I wake up to the real world.

His is no nightmare that he can wake from. I would have a bit of empathy, as existential terror is a drag. But he built his city and now he lives in it.

Two quick observations:

1. The Queen completely ignored Camille standing next to her talking. I guess she's still pissed at that woman.

2. The two kids standing side by side, the younger one looks a lot more like a King than the one who'll get to actually wear the crown.
