Of all the many wars America has been involved in, the list of those which were pretty unambiguously necessary were the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and World War II.
The leader of the party of Real Americans™ styles himself as a king who is not constrained by law; supports people who wave a Confederate battle flag, and supports people who quote Nazis. In other words, he's taken the losing side -- not to mention the un-American side -- of all three.
“They decided to make the maximum contribution to my Democrat opponent in my campaign for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin, an intentional personal blow that made headlines across the country,” he complained. “It was deliberate — and it is a true representation of the intolerance of a political philosophy that stands on the false platform of tolerance.”
So, reading the article.... they were lifelong Democrats, and they gave money to a Democratic candidate, whose values align with their own long held values... that's intolerance?? That means I'm intolerant, too?? Golly.
Coney Island used to have an "attraction" called "Shoot the Freak". You could shoot paintballs at a guy who taunted you and dodged behind obstacles.....
Never forget: Robert E. Lee asked that the Confederate flag NOT be flown at his funeral, since it would do nothing but stir up old hatreds. Even old slavers who killed hundreds and thousands in a pointless war understood.
I actually hadn't thought about that before the meme about a "job interview" was so prominent in the thread, but yeah, I'm sure the applicants for the Ritz Carlton pee-hooker position would have to go through some kind of interview before their hiring. I'll let the rest of you preverts speculate on what the questions in that interview might have been.
Continuous IS. Something bad happened in 2016, yes, and something completely different and bad looks like it IS happening in that photo. Watch yo be verbs, got my eye on you :)

Well, that's as good a plan as I've heard of.
The "Party of Lincoln" no longer believes in gov't of the people, by the people, for the people.
But I do have a pair of sneakers with miles on them from three different continents. I'll wear those for sure.
Looks like they just want me to man phones for now. I guess I'm the low man on the totem pole.

Just sayin'.....
Get either the best, most comfortable walking shoes you can find, or a couple of pairs of cheapass sneakers. You're going to wear them out.
Who *wouldn't* want a hug from her?
(hey, you can get all worked up over Justin Trudeau, we have to be fair for the other side....) https://uploads.disquscdn.c...

The Party of Lincoln™, no less!
Now, not so much.
Damn. Now I need to go back and read that thread.

Based on today's fiasco, I'm guessing "a bit more to go" is a quite conservative estimate.
What do you mean "iS"? I'm not an expert in tenses, but I detect that you might have been going all Rip-Van-Winkle on us since Nov 2016.
