We have reached a point in time. In the history of the USA we have an elected President who just stood there uttering total bullshit and expected to get praise for it. There is no other way to say it. In 1776 the population of the North American colonies (with the exception of loyalists and black folk) rejected being governed by an entitled insane white man. And yet, in 2016 their descendants managed to vote for it. We aren't just through the looking-glass here, we left that behind when Dubya found himself President. This is the stuff of nightmares, not daydreams.

While I certainly don't want an asteroid to wipe out earth, I am nevertheless baffled by the fact that right-wingers don't see such a things as a genuine act of god. They believe anthropogenic climate change is a hoax because god gave man the earth to use as we will... but a giant rock coming from outer space to destroy us is not the lord's work?
