I said something similar as well. People who have worked with her do not have good things to say. Indigenous people who have worked with her do not have good things to say. I met someone who was very very close to her that repeatedly called her an abusive sociopath who stole money. And this was prior to politics.
If I hadn't heard from people who have known/worked with her I would be 100% behind her because YES! We desperately need more Indigenous representation in US politics. But there were some shady shady things that went down in Washington. Plus just personal antidotes that were sort of frightening beyond the politics.

I'm being cagey because a person who was manipulated and abused by Jordan asked me not to say anything. One, because they were afraid of their safety, two didn't want to cause drama within their community going after a Jordan. So I'm light on the details, but can say that much. I am sorry for being very weak sauce, my response was bullshit and unhelpful.
Here's where I am at with the whole thing: It's obviously not my community and not my community to police in any way. Is having a possible sociopathic, abusive, misuser of funds who is a Democrat better than any Republican? PROBABLY! Was I playing a bit of Cassandra in regard to the original, "rising star in politics", yes.
The short answer is, no of course not. A sociopathic, abusive, misuser of funds is just as bad no matter who it is. The iron refusal by rank-and-file membership of either party to hold their *own* side accountable is the main reason *why* I'm an independent. It is also why I asked for real details.
Thing is, those descriptors represent one hell of a naked allegation to just throw out there about someone.
Like I said, I'm close with people who consider themselves a part of her immediate tribe who have the exact opposite opinion. And my own research has found that as politicians go, she's actually seems pretty decent. I mean, she's a politician. That goes with the territory of running for office. So I'm not surprised at seeing a degree of politician shit.
What you say sounds horrible. But Tara Reade sure seemed credible at first and what she alleged seemed horrible. Before the actual details of her allegations emerged, it was impossible to tell one way or the other. I kind of feel the same way about this.

The Senate has to vote itself out of existence. You have to change the Constitution. Easier to just overthrow the government and start over.

Attacking her based on generic "shady things that went down in Washington" is pretty weak sauce. That's just innuendo.
