Howdy, Y'all! This week we're going South of the border, deep into Trump country and taking a look at South Carolina's 4th District! We generally like to be hopeful, but here's the hot, sweaty reality: this is South Carolina. A Democratic win here is about as statistically probable as a virgin giving birth to a yeti drinking Crystal Pepsi. It sucks to admit that. The Democratic candidates in this deep red district could actually do a lot good if they weren't up against a
Greenville is a nice little city, presumably with some progressives. At least, they have invested in a river walk, which seems like a progressive thing to do. It could happen! But, I might suggest saving your dollars for the winner of the Democratic primary.
At least, right now, they still die. Eventually. The rich already live decades longer than the working class.
And you can bet your remaining kidney they're working on that little problem. After all, they're rich because they're smarter than anyone else and the world just couldn't do without their brilliance.
That's actually the best thing about this race: the conservative infighting has started and that the filing deadlines haven't even closed. The primary election isn't until June, and they're running a typical crop of repugnant politicos who are pretty shitty if anyone bothers do a little homework.
I'm not endorsing anybody, but I will say that JT Davis, as a moderate, stands the best chance, and the essays on his site are very earnest. That's very rare in any politician. Lee Turner is great as well, and she could pull a number of voters by simply throwing statistics and spreadsheets out. Davis would be good on a stump if he can polish himself, but he'd be a blue dog and irritate progressives to keep his seat. Lee would, unfortunately, always be running to keep her seat until redistricting, or moving up to the Senate or running for higher office. All of this presumes neither nukes themself. Chastain might be honest, but he seems to be running his own campaign which makes me skeptical. Morin would energize the youth vote if there was one to grab, but I worry that he thinks too small for someone as outspoken as he is.
Was his surname Sawyer or Finn?
Commenting policy is not on your side.

What are the odds that trump will back off on the bonuses.
Odds = lim (100% + epsilon) as epsilon -> 0.
First in flight; first in treason, first in diabeetus.
Something something makers and takers something something.
I'd direct that statement to the DCCC.

Just graph it as a straight vertical line then flat at 100%
I try not to kink-shame but, damn.
I like the way you put that, very efficient.
