I'm with you on this. Since you might as well try getting 100% of the Earth's human population to abandon religion as try getting our current government to listen to science on this (or listen to logic, at all) then researching alternatives seems important. Why do major volcanoes produce colder weather for a while? What scientists are trying to do by releasing harmless particles in the air(as in #1 above)is described in this article...I think it's worth exploring, since the problem is so serious.

The Industrial Revolution started after a Mini Ice Age in the 1700's, but CO2 buildup might have been quicker otherwise.

The Takeaway is that All Gore was right, the Hockey Stick has been verified by over 13 independent models, which corresponds to actual measurements.

Al Gore was right. The GOP, Exxon Mobile, Koch Brothers, Petroleum Institute, et. al were/are wrong. ✓

Funny how the industrial revolution happened right before the curve, probably not related though. The lightning rod was invented roughly the same time, that makes more sense as an explanation. All those extra lightning strikes must have created a lot of extra heat.
